A short 15 kilometer drive inland from Port Shepstone and the magnificent Oribi Gorge awaits you. It is perfect for a day visit, a weekend or even longer. The 365 million year old sand and limestone cliffs majestically rising above part of the Kaapvaal Craton that is over 1000 million years old is nothing but awe inspiring.
Teeming with wildlife you can look forward to spotting various species of small antelope, the rare Samango Monkey and you might even catch a glimpse of a leopard. The abundance of bird life makes this area a bird lovers paradise and the cherry on top will be spotting the endangered Cape Vulture colony that nests in the Oribi cliffs.
Surrounded with lush forests and sweeping grassy flat lands you will be spoiled for choice on what to do. From self drive game drives to taking on hiking trails or mountain biking, horse riding or visiting the various viewing sites overlooking the Gorge. If you are an adrenaline junky and adventure sport is your thing, this is the place to be.
This Nature Reserve, 21 kilometers from Port Shepstone that is named after the Oribi dwarf antelope, is a true gem. The sandstone cliffs are breath taking and the array of activities on offer will ensure you have a memorable visit.

Take a game drive, try their 4×4 routes, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, paintball, fishing, camping, team building, conference facilities or get married in the rustic chapel. The 4,5 kilometer Zip line will get your blood pumping, walk the 80 meter Suspension Bridge or explore the caves.
