San Lameer Golf Estate

The San Lameer Golf Course is set in a breathtaking tropical paradise with the waves of the Indian Ocean crashing onto the shore right next to you.  The course has 4 tee options to suit abilities from the beginner to the experienced golfer.  There is also a nine hole pitch and putting course.

This short-ish course has a tight economical layout, is challenging and will provide a lovely scenic walk for you (and non-playing companions with you) but be warned that the closing hole is a steep climb and you might regret not using a chart. 

The scenic fairways are narrow and you will have to contend with large bunkers, right-to-left doglegs, plenty of water hazards and thick rough – make sure to take extra balls with you.  You will need to play conservatively and plan your tee’s carefully.  The greens are fast but smooth.  The weather conditions play a big role and it can be like taking on a different course each time you play a round of golf here.  The wind can turn this course from challenging into a real monster in no time. 

San Lameer is situated in a nature conservation area and great care is taken to protect the indigenous wetland forest.  The birdlife is a treat to watch and you can expect to catch glimpses of impala, reedbuck, bushbuck and duikers and monkeys on the course.  This is the perfect beach vacation destination that offers an unforgettable championship golf course.

There are regular competitions held every Wednesday, Ladies Day is on the 1^st Monday of the month, Business Day Competition is on the 4^th Friday of every month and the Monthly Medal Competitions are on the last Wednesday of every month.
